Building for Mac
This Ultibo forum post provides details on how to build for MacOS using the instructions for Linux with appropriate modifications and has been tested by multiple users to produce a working installation.
Note that there is some additional information in this post which reports that starting with FPC 3.0.2 is not supported on later MacOS version. The problems related to building the Ultibo edition of FPC with later FPC releases have now been resolved and starting with the current official version of FPC (3.2.2 as of now) should work correctly.
There are also some old instructions for building both FPC and the Ultibo RTL posted in the Lazarus forum which have not been tested or verified but may provide useful information.
If you test any of these instructions and have success with them it would be great if you could post your results in our forum and include any extra information that might be relevant like versions and other packages required.
Note: We hope to be able to produce a downloadable install image for MacOS at some point in the future.
