Thanks for pointing that out, from a quick scan of the device tree files it does seem to be the case and that might give us a way to speed up the process of adding support for the Pi4.

If the legacy USB host is still available we can use it to connect to the world once we get past the bootstrapping stage, being able to output debugging data and other information over the network is much quicker than other alternatives and the code/build/test cycle is a lot easier when updates can be pushed across the LAN.

The machine is really f.a.s.t.

And overclockable up to 1750 without overvoltaging.

If you want to watch Youtube movies @ fullHD, disable the OpenGL driver first :)

I grabbed my USB stick with my Pi3B+ OS on it to copy my Ultibo code to the 4.
Noticed the Utibo folder and yep it did run the Ultibo IDE from that folder :D
Not sure why I am surprised when things work now.

I have no such luck. The Ultibo lazarus runs, but it didn't find fpc. I had to delete .ultibo directory to make the lazarus show the initial window where I can show it fpc and fpc source directories. Then it couldn't build a project - i had to install "gcc-arm-none-eabi" .

After these adventures I have now Ultibo environment up and running on my RPi4. Of course compilation time is 2x shorter on 4 than on 3 but it is still much more convenient to compile on the same RPi3 on which the compiled program runs and not copying the kernel between raspberries :)

Thanks develone for confirming that the installer script worked for you, we haven't had a chance to test it yet.
