Raspbian now has Free Pascal 3.0.4 so that wiki can be simplified.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder, we'll update that to reflect the latest Raspbian as soon as we can.

Of course we encourage everyone to use the Linux installation script because it handles most of the details automatically, we are also due to create a page that describes using the installer script and put links to it on our download page as well.

Could you please make a script (similar to http://turbocontrol.com/easyultibo121517.zip) that doesn't have Lazarus and compiles the appropriate hello app?

How could we make a custom NOOBS Lite that has the Ultibo Demo and Raspbian Lite both available?

Ok, rather than make a separate script we've expanded ultiboinstaller.sh to include two additional questions.

The first is to prompt for whether or not to build and install Lazarus and the second asks if you would like the Hello World examples built at the end of the installation.

Let us know if this does what you need.

It isn't something we've looked into but the Readme in the NOOBS GitHub contains an Advanced Usage section that includes information like "How to create a custom OS version", that should go a long way toward providing the information needed.

Of course the authors of PINN also have a lot of useful information about creating and customizing images as well.

Okay thanks! I've rewritten most of the http://turbocontrol.com/easyultibo.htm page and will hopefully be able to test it soon!

Any suggestions on where to put this on the Free Pascal wiki so others can help?

Not sure what would be best, maybe create a new page and link to it from the existing Ultibo page.

I already added a link on Sept. 13 at the bottom of that wiki page. Does the name Easy Ultibo seem okay for a new wiki page?

Easy Ultibo sounds okay or Ultibo Quick Start even, it depends what you think will make the most sense to the audience you are aiming at.

One more thing, it might be a good idea to change the download link for the ultiboinstaller.sh file to

https://github.com/ultibohub/Tools/rele ... staller.sh

That way it will always be the latest version whenever we do a new release.
