Having to install Lazarus makes things a lot more complex. I'd rather delay that to later and do simple console things just on the RPi. Once they see how simple and fast Ultibo is they will be ready for Lazarus.

The Ultiboinstall script needs a tiny bit of tweaking but works on Pi's.
Much quicker to install on a Pi4 ;)
If that was turned into a deb, Raspbian's would find it a bit easier.

Laz/FPC is the grown up way, but geez it can be messy.
It can be a bit hit and miss trying to get stuff compiling especially in Linux with permissions halting things.

Moving Ultibo to Pi's would help with take-up.
But then someone will want it to work on the Pi4's as well.

I'm still sorting out my Pi4 storage issues, but I have no choice as the home PC died on me and the 4 is looking fast enough.
Good news is Officeworks uSD/USB sticks seem to have come down in pricing recently :D .
Got my first 64GB uSD A1 and two USB3.1 32GB Ultrafits.
Wonder how well gparted works on Pi's?

Going to leave SSD/HD and USB3 dock stuff for another day, when did that become so hard?
Win10 just plain lies about SSD sizes and it blue screened me twice yesterday.
And Etcher sucks too. Pi stuff is so much easier now than PC's.

Edit - Sorry, just had a bad day yesterday in PC land.

gparted works with Pi4. :)

As it is now, I have a 64 GB A2 card in it, with 3 partitions: 4GB FAT32, >50GB ext4 for root and 4GB real swap partition.

The Ultibo Lazarus copied from RPi3 works (I need to do some apt-get install to make it work, It needed arm-eabi-none stuff. And I had to tell Ultibo where its fpc is, it tried do use system-wide fpc which of course hasn't a target called "ultibo")

How quick could we make a new wiki page that shows an easy way to dual boot Ultibo with a simple hello world app?

I'd like to do something on the Ultibo wiki (no mention of my stuff) but similar to the Hello World and the Simple Serial here: http://www.turbocontrol.com/monitor.htm

I do not need a GUI to read or adjust a thermostat! What is the most simple thing on a RPi? Blink a LED?

Best way would be to put together something and post a link to it, you might even add it to the Free Pascal wiki which actually has an Ultibo page already.
