ARM's Compute code is in C and can use the ARM's NEON's stuff
On top is things like this

We could just link to the C library, but rewriting it to Pascal means I might learn and understand it better

I have forgotten a lot of highschool/Uni maths

A recent interview with Eben Upton asking what he would like in future Pi's Machine Learning was one thing he wants.
https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/eben-q-a-1/
We have NEON in the Pi's, we don't have Mali( but maybe OpenCL on VC4/5/6?) and Eben may give us ML accelerators.
He also said Pi's will be a big part of IoT, which most of us here and using Ultibo may have guessed already

64bit Raspbian - "not yet"
My impression was RPT is still pretty small and the effort would be a bit big.
But as RPT grows more engineering resource can be allocated to this.
Or Linux will just upstream the Pi3's

Gentoo Aarch64 seems to run ok, will see if Ultibo ports to it?
Native Aarch64/NEON with 64bit Laz/FPC perhaps?
