Re: microbit as ultibo peripheral

Hello Mark, Just tested your repo https://github.com/markfirmware/ultibo-ble-observer/releases/tag/v20190123 IMG_20190128_140634.jpg This is really great that the MicroBit does not need to be connected to the RPi anylonger. IMG_20190128_141842.jpg My MicroBit is living on battery by itself with the ...

Re: microbit as ultibo peripheral

Your latest modifications is working fine for me. Instructions are displayed directly on the screen. Prompt C:\> on the upper right window makes it clear that this is the console. Well done. PS: if you type C:>cd invalid-directory it does not display any error message while on MS console it displays...

Re: microbit as ultibo peripheral

Dropping just a quick note to explain initial confusion concerning the shell console being available on the top right, if you could have the shell console setup ready directly in C:, it would display: C:\> and this would greatly help to understand that this window on top right is the shell console w...

Re: Micro:Bit inventory

I have selected mine based on your recommendation including the battery holder and the clear case making it nice sitting on top of the well designed FLIRC RPi case.
Design should not be neglected.

Re: Using the ActivityLED to show IP address

I don't know if this can be of some inspiration for what you are pursuing:
https://sourceforge.net/p/xmlrad/code/c ... X/UPnP.pas
The logic of this unit is used to map an appliance behind a NAT (an ADSL box) and expose it to be addressable from the wild Internet.

Re: Flic Ultibo

are you thinking of zapier or ifttt or something else entirely for the application server? Zapier and IFTTT are good starting point for users without the capability to manage their own cloud infrastructure and backend storage. But now with Ultibo, every programmer can regain control of their own in...

Re: Flic Ultibo

I didn't know that the BLE message already contains the "MAC" address of the Micro:bit, so there is absolutely no need for an extra byte to identify from which Micro:bit is coming the BLE message. The simplest scenario will be to forward the MAC address of the Micro:bit while sending the h...
