Frame buffer off-screen and vertical sync

I’m having trouble finding the notes on how to write to a an off-screen frame buffer and then swap it onto the screen. I’m also looking for how to sync with a screen’s vertical sync. Does anyone have links to these things? Thanks, Mark.

Re: Read char without echo

How do I determine if there is a key ready to read, so as to not block my thread? I did a quick search and did not find the answer, although I think it has been discussed. Thanks, Mark. There are several ways but if you're using ConsoleReadKey / ConsoleGetKey then the most suitable option would be ...

Re: Read char without echo

What is the equivalent of ConsoleReadChar that does not echo the keys to the console. The function you are looking for is ConsoleGetKey which, as well as not echoing to the console, also returns all of the extended keys like Home, End, Arrows, Page Up and Down and the function keys. Just be sure to...

Re: Dynamically Linking of libraries

Is support for dynamically linking libraries still being developed? Yes, we have had a working prototype for some time but have not pushed to complete it for various reasons. One of the missing elements is an importable interface to allow libraries to access the Ultibo API, this is coming with the ...

Re: zig (a c replacement) linked with ultibo

Mark, you collect languages like I collect Pi's ;) Not sure if I understand this. Ultibo is sort of acting as kernel/drivers being called by Zig or is it calling Zig? This would work for any language? Rust, Go, Pony, even C  This is just an example of using Garry’s c api so yes c works. Zig wo...

Re: .h files needed by c api

Thanks Garry - I copied the include folder from the 5.4 launchpad package to a new folder named include-missing and then added that to the path and it works well. Mark.

.h files needed by c api

Garry, globaltypes.h uses stdint.h, stddef.h, math.h, and sys/types.h. I have arm-none-eabi installed on debian 9 and there is a direcotory /usr/lib/arm-none-eabi/5.4.1/include but it does not contain math.h nor sys/types.h. Can you advise me on the correct installation and path to the needed .h fil...
