Re: NRF24l01+ Rf network driver library

Bill, That would be the NFR24L01 PCB module ;) https://www.amazon.com/Makerfire-Arduino-NRF24L01-Wireless-Transceiver/dp/B00O9O868G Yes, that is is one of many 'board configurations' utilizing the NRF24L01 chip. The board config. pictured has the antenna incorporated on the board itself (as pcb tra...

Re: Propeller CPU connected to Ultibo/pi

http://forum.gadgetfactory.net/topic/2083-propeller-1-running-on-pipistrello/ Hahaha... I went to download it only to find out it has been in my projects directory for over two years. Good thing it wasn't a snake! It compiles beautifully: ============================================================...

Re: Propeller CPU connected to Ultibo/pi

My project is not easily movable from DE2-115 as it uses its resources other than FPGA (SRAM and SDRAM). But then, the Propeller alone should be used on non-Altera boards. I recommend to search the Propeller forum. There are people with different FPGA boards who used P1V so maybe you can find ready...

Re: Propeller CPU connected to Ultibo/pi

Bill, does this mean that you no longer have a snag using your equipment for propeller/fpga?

If I understand Pik33 correctly, and he has a 'Classic Verilog' based project that can compile in the ISE compiler version I have then we should be good to go.

Re: NRF24l01+ Rf network driver library

https://github.com/billbuzzell/NRF24l01_Pascal_Library/blob/master/NRF24l01_Lib.pas Bill, before someone forks this can you edit the repo name to use an upper case L in the product name? Hi mark, Sure. Actually I think I will delete it and start over. Several things need fixing. Give me a few hours...

Re: Propeller CPU connected to Ultibo/pi

Yes, this is the board. And here is its schematic: https://www.parallax.com/sites/default/files/downloads/40000-Propeller-QuickStart-Schematic-Layout-RevB.pdf What other parts are needed to connect to raspbian and ultibo? As the Propeller is now fully open sourced (the Verilog code is available) al...

Re: NRF24l01+ Rf network driver library

Is nrf better than esp8266? Mark. The appeal of the NRf24l01 over the ESP8622 is the fact that it is 'blank slate hardware' , from the ground up from bare SPI, with no heavy protocols like WiFi or special compilers or giant codebases to contend with. We have the ultimate control with no middlemen/b...

Re: NRF24l01+ Rf network driver library

I presume this chip will easily communicate with other such chips with little programming. Is that true? Regards, Mark Yes. This will provide a direct GPIO interface to the SPI of the NRF24l01+ and provide high level library access natively in Ultibo, which provides the initial infrastructure as a ...

Re: Jan 2018 Semester Group Project

For the semester the idea is to have one (or more) ultibo devices that we work on as a group study. Your idea seems to be a device maker not a device but your example usage is a device. I think the master or the slave or both needs to be ultibo/pi to fit the semester project. Also at this time ulti...
