Re: Raspberry PI Emulation on Windows with QEMU

the process of connecting GDB to QEMU and debugging an executable image seems to be quite well documented can you tell us the status of any gdb solution? There is no change in status since this post, we have not yet undertaken any further work on supporting gdb debugging using QEMU. The fact that Q...

Re: Split screen HDMI mode

I need to know how to reconfigure the HDMI mode on the Config file shown on the above page. Anyone know about HDMI modes? To use this with Ultibo simply create a config.txt in the root directory of your SD card, the same place where you have bootcode.bin, start.elf and fixup.dat and add the setting...

Re: SWI Design Proposal

No changes required. That's ok, but I'll take the opportunity to cover a couple of points anyway. Your proposal to change TSystemCallHandler from a procedure to a function has merit and (since SWI isn't completed yet) now would be the ideal time to make that change. However looking at it I think th...

Re: New VR project

Hi, welcome to Ultibo. I realise that there are going to be a lot of people who want to give me the reasons as to why a Pi VAR startup project is a no goer, but hey, first I don't believe in you, I believe in me haha; and secondly, well it'll be a learning experience. You won't find anyone here who ...

Re: Standalone clock with internet radio and other features

Hello, welcome to Ultibo. You can do many of the things you have listed with Ultibo but some of them are not supported yet, see below. audio playback, ideally via BASS library (I really like it, have everything I need: FFT data, playing shoutcast streams, reading metatags and many more), this works ...

Re: DisplayLink support

I was just wondering if there would be any support for DisplayLink in the future ? Thanks for the suggestion, there aren't any current plans to add DisplayLink support but that doesn't mean it won't happen, it could be added "out of the blue" if the need arises. Our focus is mostly on pro...

Hello, we have not forgotten this, we just need some time to test it and work out what is happening.

We'll post more info here when we have tested.

Re: Camera, SMI, JPEG

Raspbian also has SMI NAND support, not sure if anyone has used it, maybe CM users? I'm not sure that the IDE interface would be very useful overall but for reference if anyone is interested in creating an SMI (Secondary Memory Interface) driver for Ultibo you can find the Linux driver source here:...

Re: kernel.img file format

While researching the requirements for a Ultibo based boot loader via a serial connection it appears that it is necessary to restore the ARM processor to it's initial boot state after the boot load is accomplished but before transferring control to the newly loaded application. Agreed, it would be ...
