Re: Oberon on Utibo!

Hi Garry you said earlier; I really should check the number of lines in Ultibo, someone asked me just the other day and I didn't know the answer, been so busy writing I haven't even thought to check what it is up to. On my system, using Linux wc (word count) command I get the following number of lin...

Re: Quick walk-thru' Ultibo boot to scheduling

Hi Garry

Thanks for the explanation. I now have a better understanding of what to look for.

Meaning of NETWORK_STATUS_DOWN when NETWORK_STATE_OPEN

Hi Garry

With reference to WebStatus.pas and the Network page displayed in the web browser,
if the 'state' of Network0 is NETWORK_STATE_OPEN and the 'status' is NETWORK_STATUS_DOWN what does this mean?

Quick walk-thru' Ultibo boot to scheduling

Hi Garry I'm trying to get a handle of how Ultibo goes from booting the Pi to scheduling its system and user threads. The Pi I'm using is a Model B, 700Mhz, 512Mb RAM I have looked through (and others) BootRPI.pas, BCM2835.pas, BCM2708, PlatformARMv6.pas The three function in BootRPi.pas must be run...

Locale settings

procedure LocaleInit() in Locale.pas doesn't set COUNTRY_DEFAULT and LOCALE_DEFAULT.
These are reflected in http://x.x.x.x/status/locale as zero values.

What is required in order to select a country code and locale?

Re: How to assign less memory for GPU use

The same Pi boot Linux Jessie in text mode with gpu_mem=16
I have copied the config.txt from the Linux Jessie distro onto my Ultibo SDCard - still no boot.
Will only boot if gpu_mem=32 and above.

Re: How to assign less memory for GPU use

My Pi refuses to boot with gpu_mem=16
Does Ultibo need more than 16Mb GPU memory?

gpu_mem=32 works.

How to assign less memory for GPU use

Hi

64Mb of memory is allocated for GPU use by default in Ultibo when using Pi model B with 512Mb memory (for example).

Can less memory be allocated for GPU use without making changes to the RTL code?

Re: FCL-IniFiles

Wondering what else is buried in the standard stuff If you like you can download the Free Pascal documentation from http://www.freepascal.org/ Look through "FCL reference guide" (fcl.pdf) and "RTL reference guide" (rtl.pdf). Most of the Free Pascal RTL units are usable in Ultibo...
